If your life has been touched by one of our subject institutions:

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Your story is important!  As a patient, no matter what age, and as a parent, share with us how your life has been changed forever by the acts of kindness shown to you.  Not only do we want stories from patients and parents, we are seeking testimonies from:

·         Other family members (Siblings, aunts and uncles, close friends)

·         Institution staff (Doctors, nurses, caregivers, volunteers, donors)

·         Other associates (Classmates, church members, co-workers)

The length of the story is far less important than the message. We would like to aim for 1000-1200 words per story.  But if you have a story far less, don't be afraid to send it.  We will also use quotes, Bible Verses, words of comfort and inspiration, and humorous sayings.

Don't worry about language, punctuation, and structure.  Just let it come from your HEART!  We are looking for stories that make readers cry, laugh, or get goose bumps.  A story that rekindles the spirit, touches the soul of our readers, and helps them make discoveries they can use in their own lives. The most powerful stories are about people extending themselves, or performing an act of love, service, or courage for another.

We are searching for the stories of faith, how God touched you, strengthened you, protected you, loved you in a time you least expected.  Stories of redemption are welcomed as well as stories about faith sustained. As God revealed Himself to you, tell us.

Remember we are looking for positive, uplifting stories.  We are NOT looking for examples about how devastating the death of a loved one was nor about simply overcoming illness. Examples of what we ARE looking are:

·         An UNUSUAL twist to your story that is uplifting and transformational in nature.

·         Help in a time of need coming from a surprising person or place.

·         How another’s act of kindness changed your life.

IF the book series is published and IF we decide to use, your story you will be contacted.  Make sure your contact information is on your submission.  DO NOT contact us if you haven’t heard any news. Manuscripts will NOT be returned.  IF your story is used, we reserve the right to edit as necessary. Some form of compensation will be offered for the story’s use but at this time we are unsure of what form.

Place the institutions name in the top right corner so we can sort your story easily.  Also include, name, contact method, (email, telephone, etc.), age, and involvement ( Patient, volunteer, etc.)

 Remember:  THESE BOOKS WILL BE INSPIRATIONAL, not depressing. Focus on the upward journey, not downward.  Now, share what God has done for you!
